Why marble tile needs its own marble grout cleaner
Most grout restoration chemistry is acidic, because acid is a quick way to strip soil out of cement grout. On ceramic and porcelain that is fine. On marble, limestone or travertine it is ruinous: those stones are calcium carbonate, and acid physically etches them, leaving dull, cloudy bands along every grout line that no amount of cleaning removes. Once that damage is done, the only fix is re-polishing the stone.
