Hi, do you remember back in February, I sent you this email: I have light granite countertops in my kitchen. I love them, we have been in our home almost 9 years. I did not realize the granite was not sealed. Now the countertops have turned a brown/khaki color. Would the granite poultice work to restore my granite to its original color? There are not any specific stains from food or beverages...just any overall change in color...evenly over the entire surface!
You recommended using the granite poultice and I finally got around to testing the poultice and I am so impressed! Now I need to do my entire countertop surface!
What other products should I purchase to seal and protect the granite???

The granite in my kitchen is a little more than 3 years old. My granite island still looks brand new; but, the granite counters next to the stove look so much darker and have a few really dark spots, must be from all the cooking I do. I decided to buy this granite stain remover called poultice and see if it would do anything. Wow, what a difference, I left the poultice in place for 3 days, and when I removed it, the dark spots were gone and the section I worked on looks similar to the granite island. I need to buy some more to finish the job.
