Applicator tray – a shallow, wide tray designed to hold sealer or restorer at the ready while you work, instead of pouring it directly and losing control of the amount.
Product Facts
For use in conjunction with only the Rotating Polyfoam Applicators, when applying either Grout Cleaner or Grout Sealer to the applicators.
Telescopic pole and Rotating Polyfoam Grout Cleaner/Sealer Applicator sold separately.
Why an applicator tray helps with sealing and restoring
Applying sealer or restorer straight from the bottle makes it hard to control how much comes out at once, which leads to over-application, drips, and wasted product. An applicator tray solves that by giving you a shallow, wide reservoir to dip an applicator pad or brush into, so you control exactly how much product goes onto the surface with each pass.
What makes the shape matter
A wide, shallow profile means the applicator pad picks up an even, thin coat rather than soaking up more than it needs. That translates directly into a more even application on the stone or grout, and less product wasted overall.
Using the applicator tray
Pour a small amount of sealer or restorer into the tray – only as much as you’ll use in the next few minutes, since some products start to cure once exposed to air. Dip your applicator pad or brush, work off any excess against the tray’s edge, then apply to the surface in even passes. Refill as needed rather than pouring a large amount up front.
Keeping the tray ready to use
Wipe the tray out promptly after each use, before any remaining product cures inside it. A quick rinse keeps it ready for the next sealing or restoration job without residue interfering with future applications.
Applicator tray questions we get asked
What products work with this tray? Any pourable sealer, restorer, or similar liquid applied with a pad or brush.
Does it work with a rotating applicator? Yes – it’s sized to dip a rotating polyfoam applicator as easily as a flat pad.
How do I clean dried product out of it? Prompt rinsing after use is the easiest approach; cured product is much harder to remove later.

Pairing the applicator tray with your sealing tools
Use it alongside our grout sealer applicator for grout lines, or a flat pad for sealing broader stone surfaces. Having a tray on hand also makes it easier to switch between a sealer and a restorer mid-job without cross-contaminating either product straight from their original bottles.
