What granite polish 16 oz is actually doing
Granite is a hard, dense stone, but daily wiping and cleaning still leave behind a fine layer of residue and micro-scratching that dulls its natural shine over time. Granite polish 16 oz combines a polishing agent with a light protective coating, so one application both restores the reflective shine and adds a thin barrier against fingerprints and light staining.
Why the 16 oz size
At 16 oz, this size covers a full kitchen with an island, multiple bathroom vanities, or a bar area over many applications – more shine per dollar than restocking the smaller 8 oz bottle repeatedly.
Applying granite polish 16 oz
Start with a clean, dry countertop – polishing over crumbs or grease will grind debris into the surface instead of buffing it out. Apply a small amount and work it in with a soft cloth in circular motions, then buff to a shine with a clean, dry microfiber towel. A little goes a long way; more product doesn’t mean more shine.
Keeping granite looking polished
Wipe up spills promptly and use coasters under acidic drinks and citrus. Stick to granite-safe, pH-neutral cleaners day to day – harsh degreasers and acidic sprays will strip the protective layer faster than normal use.
Granite polish 16 oz questions we get asked
How often should I polish? Most kitchens do well with a pass every few weeks, or whenever the shine starts looking flat.
Does this replace sealing? No – polish adds shine and light protection between sealings, but a dedicated granite sealer is what protects against deeper staining.
Is the formula different from the 8 oz size? No – only the bottle size changes, so results are identical to our granite polish 8 oz.
