Why marble grout cleaner kit uses a different formula
Standard grout cleaners are built for ceramic and porcelain tile, where the surrounding surface can’t be etched by the wrong pH. Marble is calcium carbonate, and calcium carbonate etches on contact with acid – so a cleaner used right up against marble tile has to be safe for both surfaces at once. Marble grout cleaner kit is formulated with that in mind.
Why skip the restorer and protector
Our complete grout restoration kit for marble adds a color restorer and stone-safe sealer for grout that’s already stained or needs long-term protection. This marble grout cleaner kit is for grout that just needs a deep, stone-safe clean first.
Using the marble grout cleaner kit
Apply the cleaner to the grout lines and let it sit for a few minutes so it can break down grease and soap film before scrubbing. Work along the grout lines with the included brush, keeping strokes controlled near the marble edges, then wipe away loosened residue promptly.
Keeping marble and grout clean
Use only pH-neutral, marble-safe cleaners on both the tile and the grout going forward. Wipe up spills quickly, especially anything acidic, since marble reacts to acid the way ceramic tile never does.
Marble grout cleaner kit questions we get asked
Can I use a regular grout cleaner instead? Not recommended near marble – formulas built for ceramic tile aren’t tested for marble-safe pH.
Does this include a sealer? No – this kit is cleaning only; our complete restoration kit for marble adds sealing and color restoration.
How often should I use it? Most bathrooms need a full pass every few months, with lighter cleaning in between.
