DIRECTIONS: Stone surface should be clean and dry. Apply a small amount of MPP with soft cotton cloth or paper towel, divide work area into sections no larger than 18 square inches. With a circular hand motion, buff MPP with paper towels, changing them often.

What a marble polish protector actually protects against
Marble has two vulnerabilities and they are not the same problem. It is calcium carbonate, so acidic spills – wine, citrus, cola, tomato, vinegar and many household cleaners – chemically etch the polished surface into a dull patch. A polish protector will not make marble immune, but it buys you the minutes you need to notice a spill and wipe it up before the stone is marked.

Clean with NeutraSheen for Marble. If the shine has already gone dull, re-polish first with Marble Gloss Restorer. Then finish with this. Doing it in that order matters – protecting a dull surface just locks in the dullness.
How to apply it
Work on a clean, completely dry surface. Apply a small amount with a soft cotton cloth or paper towel, work in manageable sections rather than the whole counter at once, and buff thoroughly. The buffing is what creates the shine, so do not rush it. Swap to a fresh cloth as they load up. Busy kitchen surfaces benefit from reapplication every few months; low traffic vanities can go a year or more.

Will it remove etch marks? No – use Marble Gloss Restorer for that, then apply this afterwards.
Can I use it on granite? This formula is for marble. We make a separate Granite Polish and Protector.
Does it leave a slippery film on floors? Buffed out properly it should not, but take care on floor applications and buff thoroughly.
