What makes NeutraSheen for Granite different from supermarket sprays
Two things go wrong when granite is cleaned with ordinary household products. Acidic cleaners attack the stone and any adjacent marble or limestone. Detergent based cleaners leave a film that builds up over time, dulls the surface and traps soil, so the counter looks worse the more often you clean it.
NeutraSheen for Granite is pH neutral and rinse free. It lifts soil and leaves nothing behind, so there is no build up, no streaking and no loss of gloss. It is what professional stone care companies and hotel housekeeping teams use day in, day out. The Natural Stone Institute makes the same recommendation about neutral cleaners in its consumer stone care guidance.
Why choose the 40 ounce concentrate
This is concentrate, not ready to use, which is precisely the point. You dilute it with water as you need it, so you are not paying to ship water and you are not throwing away a plastic bottle every few weeks. One 40 ounce bottle makes many gallons of working solution and lasts most households a very long time.
The usual pattern our customers settle into is one bottle of concentrate in the cupboard and a premixed spray bottle by the sink, refilled from the concentrate as it empties.

NeutraSheen for Granite questions we get asked
Do I need to rinse after cleaning? No. It is formulated for use without rinsing, which is a large part of why professional crews prefer it.
Will it strip my sealer? No. It is safe to use over an impregnating sealer.
Will it remove a stain that has soaked in? No. A cleaner works on the surface. A stain that has soaked into the stone needs a poultice – see our Granite Poultice.
Can I use it on marble too? Yes. It is safe on marble, limestone, travertine, ceramic and porcelain tile as well as granite.
How often can I use it? As often as you like – it is gentle enough for daily use on kitchen counters.
Everyday granite habits worth having
Granite is tougher than marble but it is not indestructible. Use coasters and trivets, put a board under anything you are cutting, and wipe up oil, wine and coffee before they get the chance to soak in. Check your sealer once a year with the water drop test – a few drops left for a few minutes should sit on the surface rather than darkening the stone. If it darkens, reseal. Clean regularly with a neutral cleaner rather than occasionally with a harsh one; consistent gentle cleaning keeps a granite counter looking new far longer than periodic deep cleaning ever will.
