Why a rotating design applies sealer more evenly

A static applicator pad tends to load up unevenly as it’s dragged along a grout line, laying down more product where it first touches down and less as it dries out. A polyfoam applicator rotates as it moves, continuously refreshing the contact surface against the grout line, which spreads sealer more evenly across the whole run instead of front-loading it.

What the foam material adds

Polyfoam holds sealer without oversaturating, releasing it gradually as the roller turns rather than dumping it all at once. That control is what keeps sealer in the grout line where it belongs instead of pooling on the surrounding tile.

Using the polyfoam applicator

Load the foam roller from a tray or shallow container – our applicator tray works well for this – then run it along the grout line with steady, even pressure, letting it rotate naturally as you move. Wipe any excess off the tile before it dries, and allow the recommended cure time before the area gets wet.

Keeping the applicator ready to use

Rinse it promptly after each use, before sealer has a chance to cure in the foam. A well-maintained roller lasts through many sealing sessions before it needs replacing.
