Velcro replacement pad – a single 6 x 6 inch hook-and-loop backing piece for re-attaching a worn or lost pad holder fastener without replacing the whole holder.
Product Facts
Replenish the Velcro for your Porter Cable or Black and Decker Buffer.
This is the same Velcro that came with your original buffer.
Occasional replacement of Velcro will contribute to the quickness and ease of achieving professional grade results for your marble and granite care projects, all on your own.
Why a velcro replacement pad extends the life of your tools
Hook-and-loop fasteners on pad holders and buffer attachments wear out with repeated use long before the tool itself does – the hooks flatten, the loop fibers mat down, and pads stop staying attached during use. A velcro replacement pad swaps out just that worn fastener, so a perfectly good pad holder or buffer doesn’t get replaced over one worn-out piece.
Why 6 x 6 inches
This size matches the standard mounting surface on our pad holders and hand-held buffer attachments, so it’s a direct fit rather than something that needs trimming or extra hardware to install.
Installing the velcro replacement pad
Clean the mounting surface thoroughly first so the adhesive backing bonds properly – any residue from the old fastener will weaken the new one’s grip. Press the new pad firmly into place and let it set before attaching a cleaning or polishing pad to it.
Getting the most life from it
Keep the hook-and-loop surface free of embedded debris between uses, since grit trapped in the fibers reduces how well pads stay attached. A quick brush-off after each session keeps the fastener gripping well longer.
Velcro replacement pad questions we get asked
Will this fit any pad holder? It’s sized for our standard pad holders and hand-held buffer attachments; check your tool’s mounting surface size before ordering.
How do I know it’s time to replace the fastener? If pads slip or detach during use even when pressed firmly, the hook-and-loop surface has likely worn out.
Does it come with the pad already attached? No – this is the mounting fastener alone, for use with your existing cleaning or polishing pads.

Where a velcro replacement pad gets used
It’s the same fastener style used on our microfiber floor pads and pad holder attachments, so keeping a spare on hand means a worn fastener doesn’t stall a cleaning job while you wait on a new holder.
