Grout sealer applicator – a dedicated applicator built to work sealer evenly into grout lines instead of over-saturating the surrounding tile.
Product Facts
These are the same applicators included with our Grout Restoration kits.
Replenish the grout cleaner/sealer applicators for your Grout Restoration Kits with a new applicator, for consistent high quality work when you’re cleaning and sealing grout.
Why grout needs its own applicator
Grout lines are narrow and recessed, which makes them awkward to seal accurately with a brush or cloth meant for flat surfaces – too much product ends up on the tile, and not enough gets worked into the grout itself. A grout sealer applicator is shaped specifically to follow the grout line and deposit sealer where it’s actually needed.
What the design solves
A precise applicator means less sealer wasted on tile that doesn’t need it, and a more even, complete seal along the grout line where protection actually matters. That translates into a longer-lasting seal and less cleanup of sealer residue on the surrounding tile.
Using the grout sealer applicator
Dip the applicator into your sealer – our applicator tray works well for controlling the amount – then run it along the grout line with steady, even pressure. Wipe any excess off the tile surface before it dries, and allow the recommended cure time before the area gets wet again.
Keeping the applicator ready to use
Clean the applicator promptly after each use, before sealer has a chance to cure on it. A dedicated applicator kept clean between uses lasts through many sealing jobs.
Grout sealer applicator questions we get asked
Does this work with any sealer? Yes – it’s designed to apply any pourable grout sealer accurately along the line.
How is this different from a brush? A brush spreads sealer broadly; this applicator is shaped to track the narrow grout line specifically.
How often do I need to reseal? Most grout holds a seal for a year or more before needing another pass, depending on traffic and moisture exposure.

Pairing the grout sealer applicator with the right tools
Dip it from our applicator tray for controlled, even sealer amounts rather than pouring straight from the bottle. Once the seal is on, a grout restorer can address any lingering discoloration underneath before the seal locks it in.
